what i do for work

i work at turner studios in the creative services department.  i work on turner sports properties about 99% of the time.. i love it.  one of our bigger projects is the nba on tnt.

our most recent look has involved compositing within time lapse HDR photography.  i recently cut an edit of some of the highlights of some of the shots and comps.  thought i would post it because i'm pretty proud of all the work.  if you're an nba fan perhaps you've seen some of this stuff air.

our homegirl Erin went to vegas.. while she was there i had her put a few bets in for me.. 2014 world series winners one on the braves and one on the sox.. not that i need any additional motivation.

Paloma's First Beat

here's paloma's first beat. she was in the lab while the beat was being made and her voice is on the track... she wasn't in the best mood but i felt like it would be cool to have her voice on there either way... documenting this period of time.

some beat from the other night

used a sample that came from a cowboy bebop thing, added (what i think was a) cool reverse reverb effect and tried to do a somewhat minimal amount with the drums.  i know it's easy to get carried away with your drum sounds and to always want them to be "bangin'" so on this one i tried to make the drums a little more on the understated side.
